Moscow Exchange Bitcoin futures have surged to nearly 7 billion rubles in total trading volume since launch, and this marks a significant milestone for crypto futures in Russia right now. Coinbase gets approval to offer crypto futures in US

Crypto exchange Coinbase has received the green light from the National Futures Association (NFA) to offer crypto futures to eligible customers in the US.  The company’s subsidiary, Coinbase Financial Markets Inc., will operate as a futures commission merchant (FCM) and offer access to crypto futures from its platforms.  The approval , described as a “critical milestone” by Greg Tusar, Coinbase’s vice president of institutional product, allows the exchange to directly offer traditional spot crypto trading alongside regulated and leveraged crypto futures for verified customers. Tusar also emphasized that the global crypto derivatives market accounts for roughly 75% of crypto trading volume worldwide, making it a vital access point for traders. BlackRock Bitcoin ETF could unlock $30 trillion worth of wealth, Bloomberg analyst says

Following the Blackrock application, a Bitcoin spot ETF was never so close to being approved and it could be a game changer for the crypto industry, explains ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. $30 trillion worth of capital could suddenly unlock for the Bitcoin market if a Bitcoin spot ETF is approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, according to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas.  That is the estimated amount of assets controlled by financial advisors in the U.S., who would be willing to get exposure to Bitcoin through a regulated exchange-traded fund.   "ETF is the format in which the boomers and the financial advisors prefer their investments delivered in”, Balchunas explained in an exclusive Cointelegraph interview.  Blackrock's application for a Bitcoin spot ETF last month sparked a new wave of optimism around the crypto market which led other major firms such as ARK Investment, Valkyrie, and Fidelity to file their own applications for a Bitcoin ETF.  The ...
